Care specific to your needs
Skilled services
Skilled services are those provided by licensed professionals, such as Registered Nurses (RN) or Physical Therapists (PT). These services can support a wide variety of needs, ranging from short-term surgery recovery to long-term chronic disease management.
Caregiver services
Caregiver services are those which support activities of daily living (ADLs). These include everything from light housekeeping and meal preparation, to support with walking or bathing. The goal of caregiver services is to help patients maintain independence in the home.
How do I pay for services?
Medicare
Medicare covers skilled services with no deductible or copay. A primary care provider must certify that a patient is homebound in order to qualify.
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage plans offer limited access to skilled services, and vary on a plan-by-plan basis. For questions about your specific plan, give us a call and we can discuss your options.
Veterans (VA)
The US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides extensive coverage for skilled and caregiver services. As a Veteran-owned company, we specialize in navigating VA benefits.
Medicaid
LHG does not currently offer skilled services through Medicaid, but does provided caregiver services through Medicaid’s Primary Home Care (PHC) benefit.
Private pay
For patients who pay for their care through either Long Term Care Insurance or personal funds, LHG offers both skilled and caregiver services.
